The Drupal boot camp traning occurs after Drupalcampbangkok. This training wanted to teach the new user on web development to know the powerful of Drupal.

The event was at Shrewsbury International School in Jaroen Krung Road. The place is sponsor us for the training revenue. The school looks very good for rich people, they have a condominium to the parent (who has the kid studying in this school). They have the Starbucks under the condominium and they have their own dock for transfer the students. Unluckily this day was saturday and they have no kids on this day.

This training will be in hardcore style. It is suitable for someone who know the programming, for me doesn’t have the knowledge of programming. So my objective is to know “how does it work and how can they create it”.

The training separated in to 2 day.

• 1st Day Drupal Modules

The event start at 9 o’clock in the morning. I went to the training late for 1 hour because I’m so tired, my house is far away and Slow movement of the bus. The training room we use the computer room of Prep. School.

Sugree talked about the drupal installation. We used Drupal 5.7 as a model for today. In the morning he talked all of the important function, that I didn’t understand everything. I just listened to collect all of knowledge. Until 14.00 we had a lunch time. We went to the restaurant near the school and I order the spicy fried crispy pork with omelet and pork leg rice. It’s very delicious.

In the afternoon we continued to to the account filter module such as Twitter account filter and Block Table Sort Pager. The training finished on 16.00, everyone went back to their home. I and some of us went to pecha kucha night.

• 2nd Day Drupal Theme

Today I went to the place very early because I didn’t go back home. After the Pecha Kucha night we went to have the party at Always bar in Soi. Jame Jan and after the party I went to @rerngrit house to see the movie with him and @ipats. The movie finished on 4.00, I woke up at 6.00 (I need to woke up early because I afraid to have an oversleep). I took the taxi meter with @noomz to the training place but it’s too early so we went to Starbucks to waiting the rest people.

Today we talked only the theme development. I had trying it but it make Foosci.com and molecularck.com disappear. I didn’t know what I done. Thank you for @pruet and @kengggg to find and fixed the problem to me. At lunch time we go to the same place of yesterday, I ordered spicy fried crypy pork with fried egg and garlic pork.

At least today I known how to change the theme color and got the new theme and logo for foosci.com from kengggg.

The training stop at 16.00. everyone went back to their home.
